Hello All,
This is daughter Jennifer writing from Greenville. Since the doctors are being very proactive at fighting infection, we expect Dad to remain in ICU for a while yet. Our family wants to let you all know a few key things. The first is, please don't panic if a day goes by without a new blog entry. The usual time for posting is in the evening, and lately the evenings have been busy, so while we will try to get an entry out every day, it is by no means a bad thing if you don't see one. Second, we are very much aware of all the prayers and all the love and good wishes coming Dad's way and our way too. This ICU situation may be a setback, but we firmly believe that it is a temporary setback -- to quote Dr. O'Rourke: "Having him walk out of here is still the plan." We are so grateful to have Dr. O'Rourke - and frankly his whole team of caregivers, on our team. And that includes all of you who have been praying for him and sending him well wishes. We'll do our best to post again tomorrow.

Thanks for letting us know what to expect. I have to admit to being somewhat concerned today. All of you are incredible and so very kind to keep us up to date. You are as always, in our prayers and thoughts.
