We are back at the hospital in Room 534, lamps in tow. Eileen has the room all set up for Harry's comfort. Donna's quilt is on the bed, the lamps are in the corners and Harry's books and lectures are on the shelf.
Today the nurses put in the PICC line, which is what they are using this time instead of the Hickman catheter. They believe that the Hickman is a probable source of infection, so they are not using that on Harry anymore. Most likely, they will start the chemotherapy tomorrow, which will be Cytarabine and Daunorubicin again. They are no longer using the experimental chemo drug on Harry.
O'Rourke decided that because there are less leukemia cells to kill off this time, Harry will only have to undergo chemotherapy for 5 days. We will check in on each of them.
Meanwhile, know that we love all of you dearly and we are thinking of you constantly.

I have spoken with Dr. O'Rourke and asked that he schedule you some time to get to Rome. Harry, you are continually in our thoughts. We also need to schedule a date for the Dakota Grill, our treat!
